“You look a lot different I mean!” Neha said, she was quite surprised, the photograph her uncle has shown her was of a young woman, a little on the skinny side, with short hair, close cropped almost.
The woman sitting in front of her looked in her early forties, might be older, these days surgeries and make-up do a lot of magic, she wondered if Bindu was trying to fool her uncle again. Will she dare?
They chatted for a while, then Jyoti invited them to her ancestral home, a little distance away from Kolkata.
“You said you have no relationship with them anymore?” Neha asked.
“They came to me, seeking my forgiveness when I went to invite them for my marriage.” Jyoti smiled.
Neha looked at the couple, sitting side by side, Raja looked at least ten years junior than Jyoti, Jyoti might have kept her looks perfect but Raja had a boyish look, and even though he was in his thirties he appeared to be in his mid twenties.
They left after dinner, there was no question of getting out of there without having it, Bindu ensured that.
Ha ha ha 😀 people tend to mistake my age is ten years younger.
